How it works
cReaTic’s main goal is to capture ground-breaking ideas related to Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) and to search for companies that are interested in their application and also for researchers who are capable of developing them, by working out agreed formulas and fostering understanding scenarios between them so that they can negotiate and adjust their interests. The origin and ownership of these ground-breaking ideas can correspond to either an inventor or a company. At the same time, cReaTic serves as an innovation engine and as a real technology laboratory, offering researchers, companies and research organisations an adequate framework for the joint development of ideas and for the active collaboration in the design and implementation of ground-breaking projects and in the practical application of its results. To sum up, cReaTic turns young and talented people with good ideas into researchers and technology thanks to the contribution of companies and research organisations.
The selection of ideas will be carried out by a committee of experts. If the idea is approved, it will be classified within one of our lines of activity and the holder of that idea will have the opportunity to develop it in cReaTic. If a good idea cannot be classified within any of the lines of activity that are active at that moment in cReaTic, it will not be ruled out. One of the main principles that govern the operation of cReaTic is to preserve the ownership of the ideas and to protect the rights of all stakeholders involved in the processes of invention, adaptation and exploitation of those ideas. cReaTic will also offer specialised advice in the different phases of the innovative activity to researchers and companies, providing them with a secure frame for the development and effective application of their ground-breaking ideas, especially when the relationship established between them can give rise to the establishment of technology companies. |
